Terms of Use
Effective 12 June 2026
These terms cover the Aeviam website at aeviam.com and the Aeviam app. Using either means you agree to them. We have kept them in plain English on purpose.
- Aeviam measures and coaches. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat anything.
- Your scans and photos stay yours. We only get the licence we need to run the service for you.
- We promise measurement and guidance, not outcomes. Your results depend on what you do.
Who we are
Aeviam runs aeviam.com and the Aeviam app. When these terms say "we", it means Aeviam. When they say "you", it means the person using our website or app.
Full registered company details will be published here once our registration is complete. Until then, you can reach us at hello@aeviam.com.
What Aeviam is, and what it is not
Aeviam is a measurement and coaching app. It scans your skin, gives it a measured age and ten metric scores, and coaches you on daily habits that may improve them.
Aeviam is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
The Aeviam Index and every metric in the app are cosmetic self-tracking estimates, produced from consumer camera imagery. They are useful for tracking your own trend. They are not clinical measurements.
If you have a medical concern about your skin, or anything else, see a doctor or dermatologist. Nothing in the app is a substitute for that.
Your account
A few simple rules:
- Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current
- Keep your login credentials safe. Your account is yours alone.
- You must be 18 or over. The app checks this at sign-up.
- One account per person
We can suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, other people, or these terms.
Acceptable use
Aeviam is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please do not:
- Reverse engineer, copy or resell any part of the service
- Scrape or harvest data from the site or the app
- Scan anyone without their consent. The guest scan exists so a willing friend can see their own result. It is not for scanning people who have not agreed.
Your content
Your scans and photos remain yours. You give us only the licence we need to operate the service for you: to analyse your scans, store your results, and show your progress back to you. We claim nothing beyond that.
How we handle your data, including what stays on your device, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions made inside the app are billed by Apple under Apple's terms. Refunds and cancellations for those go through Apple.
Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and your Apple ID is charged again for each renewal at the same price unless we have given you notice of a change. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID settings.
Purchases made on the website, once live, will have their own checkout terms shown at the point of sale.
Prices can change. If they do, we will give you notice, and changes will not apply to anything you have already paid for.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise measurement and guidance. We measure your skin honestly, show you the trend, and coach the habits most likely to move it.
We do not promise outcomes. Skin results vary from person to person, and they depend on what you actually do. Anyone who guarantees you a result is not being straight with you.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, to the extent UK law allows. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. If we make a material change, we will flag it on this page and update the effective date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
