What is Aeviam?
Aeviam is a cosmetic skin-wellness app. You scan your face in about two minutes, and Aeviam estimates your skin age, the Aeviam Index, from 468 facial landmarks across 10 skin markers. It then builds a daily plan tailored to your scan and your lifestyle, and lets you track your number over time. Aeviam is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
Is Aeviam free?
Yes. You can scan your face and see your skin age for free, with no card needed. Membership is optional and unlocks your full results, your personalised daily plan, and unlimited weekly re-scans so you can watch your Index move. You can start a free scan any time.
Do I need to connect Apple Health?
No. Apple Health is optional and read-only. If you connect it, Aeviam uses your sleep and activity to personalise your plan and find what moves your Glow, but the app works fully without it.
How accurate is the Aeviam Index?
The Index is an estimate of how old your skin reads, shown with a confidence range rather than false precision. The first few scans calibrate to you, and scanning in similar lighting each time keeps your readings consistent, so what matters most is the trend you build over weeks.
The scan won't read my face
Face a window or other soft, even light, hold the phone at arm's length, and remove glasses, makeup and filters. If your device has no usable camera, you can still explore a full result using the demo option on the scan screen. Still stuck? Send us the details and we'll help.
How often should I re-scan?
About once a week, in similar lighting each time. Skin changes slowly, so weekly scans give you a clean trend without daily noise. Members get unlimited re-scans.
What does membership include?
Membership unlocks your full results, your personalised plan and unlimited weekly re-scans so you can watch your Index move. You can scan and see your skin age for free; membership is for the deeper plan and tracking.
How do I manage or cancel my membership?
Aeviam membership is an Apple subscription. To manage or cancel it, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Aeviam. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period ends.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple, not by Aeviam. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you're not sure or something looks wrong, email us and we'll point you the right way.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your face scan is analysed on your device, not on a server, and the face signature used to recognise you never leaves your phone. We do not sell your data, and website analytics run only with your consent. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account or data?
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account to remove everything, or delete individual scans and progress photos from your scan history. Prefer us to handle it? Email us and we'll take care of it.
